The experience of Exclamation’s management team and Board of Directors is the key driver to Exclamation’s success. Guided by Marc Lavine who has a proven track record of building new ventures and seeking out niche investment opportunities, Marc brings a disciplined and focused view of evaluating investments with a clear exit strategy that brings returns to all shareholders. The management team and Board are actively involved in the key investment decisions.
Marc Lavine
Marc is responsible for creating the overall strategic vision and setting the direction for Exclamation.
Marc brings his entrepreneurial passion and spirit to his ventures; born from a lifetime of creating and working with start-up companies. Early in his career, following a consulting role with McKinsey & Company, Marc created his first company - Cyberplex Inc., a TSX listed technology consulting company. After working with Cyberplex, Marc continued his passion of business creation by founding Exclamation in 1997 where he served as Chairman and CEO from inception to February 2002 and remained as Chairman of the Board until May 2007.
While CEO of Exclamation, Marc set the strategic direction of Exclamation, assisting with its public listing (via one of Ontario's 1st CPCs) and was instrumental in the creation of several of its business ventures, including Points International - the world's leading reward-program management portal.
In 2002, Marc created his first Capital Pool Company, Chrysalis Capital I Corporation, and has been dedicated the CPC Program ever since.
In addition to Exclamation, Marc is currently Chairman and Director of Chrysalis VIII; CEO and Director of Panda Capital Inc., as well as a Director of Cyberplex Inc. He is also active in the arts via Exclamation Productions Inc. and charitable endeavours via The Exclamation Foundation.

Daniel Shields
Daniel joined Exclamation in the fall of 2009 and brings significant expertise in financial management, corporate M&A and capital management.
Daniel’s diverse background includes building early stage start-ups companies to working with some of Canada’s largest corporations.
Daniel has held senior financial roles in many industry sectors such as telecommunications, wireless technology, media, publishing, food manufacturing and oil & gas. Daniel’s M&A experience provides the necessary due diligence experience and strategic vision in evaluating investment opportunities. Daniel also leads Exclamation’s investor relations program.

Jim Kranias, Director
Mr. Kranias has over 40 years of information technology, consulting and management experience. Since 1998, he has provided management consulting services to North American firms that are entering the European marketplace. He provides his services through his company, International Consulting, which was based in
Prior to his International Consulting business, Mr. Kranias was a senior partner with DMR Group for over 20 years. He established and successfully grew DMR's Toronto office into the premier IT consulting service in the city. He went on to manage operations in Boston, Ottawa and the Netherlands, and to lead the sales effort in the UK.
Mr. Kranias started his career with IBM, where he progressed through positions in systems engineering, sales, executive education, Government & Services Industry manager and senior sales management. He has his B.Sc. of Engineering Physics from the
Robert Munro, Director
Mr. Munro is CEO, CFO and co-founder of The Chrysalis Capital Group ("TCCG"), a private company focused on all aspects of the Capital Pool Company program. Mr. Munro currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Panda Capital Inc.
Prior to joining TCCG, Mr. Munro served as Director, Data Product Management with Rogers AT&T Wireless Inc. (“Rogers”), from March 2003 to February 2006. In such capacity, Mr. Munro managed a team and was strategically responsible for delivering increasing data revenues in a growing area of the wireless market.

Michael Wolfe, Director
Michael has 17 years of private equity investing, business valuation and accounting experience, working primarily with mid-market companies.
Michael is currently VP, Finance at Masstech Group Inc. Prior to joining Masstech, Michael was the managing Director at Spara Merchant Capital Corp. and was a General Partner at VenGrowth Private Equity Partners Inc. He was responsible for managing subordinated debt and equity investments. He has worked at several prominent private equity firms and two international accounting firms. Mr. Wolfe is a Chartered Accountant (CA), a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and has a Master of Business Administration degree.
