exclamation was founded in 1997 by Marc Lavine as Canada’s first “Internet Business Generator”. In February 2000, through a reverse takeover, exclamation went public on the venture exchange. exclamation built a portfolio of early stage technology companies in the early 2000’s.
As the company survived the internet bubble, Marc set the strategic direction for exclamation and was instrumental in founding new business ventures most notably Points International – the world’s largest leading reward-program management portal, currently transacting over 1 billion reward points monthly with revenues over $100M.

By 2003, Points International had grown so successfully that exclamation took Points International public and is trading on the TSX and NASDAQ today.
Through the years, exclamation continued creating and building new businesses such as The Chrysalis Capital Group, a private company creating a series of Capital Pool Companies (“CPCs”). Having completed over 12 CPCs, Chrysalis is regarded as one of the most prolific CPC institutions by the TSX Venture Exchange.
